Tap-to-pay ticketing, fan shout-outs, live streaming, and instant volunteer onboarding - built for the parents who actually run the gate.
If you have ever run a marching contest gate, you know the routine. A remote website for tickets. An app for the card reader. A spreadsheet for volunteers. A stack of post-its and a runner for fan shout-outs. Half your bench is brand new and half your day is spent explaining what goes where. Marching Maestro puts all of it in one place so contest day runs smoother and more of the revenue stays with the band.
Online ticketing platform with high fees
Built-in ticketing with lower fees
Bought, rented, or borrowed card readers
Tap-to-pay on phones you already own
A spreadsheet for volunteers
Volunteer signup plus one-scan QR onboarding
A separate donation or shoutout tool
Fangrams (fan shout-outs) in the same app
Streaming gear and a separate platform
Stream from a phone, optional paid viewing
Grandparents, deployed parents, college siblings, alumni - they all want to watch. Now they can, straight from a phone on the sideline. New ticket-gated streams let you charge a fee per viewer, which turns away contests into a real revenue line for your booster fund.
Stop spending the first hour of every contest explaining roles to first-timers. Print one QR code, tape it to the volunteer table. Anyone who scans gets the right role, the right access, and a walkthrough they follow on their own phone. You get to stop being the help desk.
The same app covers everything else your contest day needs.
Let parents and friends buy a shout-out for their student, read live by the announcer. Real revenue, real smiles.
Learn about shoutouts →Sell food, drinks, and merch from the same volunteer phones running the gate. Real-time totals on the dashboard.
Learn about concessions →Bands sign up online and pay registration online. You approve from one screen instead of chasing paperwork.
Learn about registration →We charge less than the big ticketing platforms, so more of every ticket dollar lands in your booster fund.
Built so a first-time grandparent can run the gate after a quick walkthrough from a fellow volunteer. No board-member babysitting.
Run by people who have set up a contest at 6 a.m. in the rain. Chat or email and you get a real reply.
How quickly can we switch from our current ticketing platform?
Most boosters are set up for their next contest in well under a week. If you're under a time crunch and need help, we are always available to get you started.
Do volunteers need to download an app?
For ticket scanning and POS, yes - it is a free app from the iOS App Store or Google Play. Onboarding takes about 30 seconds once they scan the onboarding QR code at the table or from another volunteer's app screen.
What about online ticket sales before contest day?
Online ticketing runs from the event page the platform builds for your contest. At the gate, the same volunteer phones can sell, scan, and take walk-up tickets.
What happens if our attendees do not have a good internet connection at the venue?
Unlike some other ticketing platforms, the attendees themselves only need the ticket QR code to be scanned in at the gate - no need to click any buttons on the attendees' screens. Tickets can be easily added to Apple or Google Wallet, making the process even more convenient!
